Belinda to Resign
Just in from CTV... Belinda Stronach will not stand for re-election, and will return to Magna International. I think one more seat just entered the "in play" catagory.
That takes us to 16 stepping down. ("97 Liberal MP's in the House, 97 Liberal MP's...")
Honestly, I wish her well. I think she's a better business woman than she is a politician. With the way our economy is heavily tied to the auto industry, the better she does, the better our nation does.

Not so inneffectual, in reality... she helped "Unite the Right", then united us even further in the same way that Benidict Arnold did for the US forces in 1776. ;-)

ahh yes however given that truly uniting the right upon jumping ship, was likely opposite of her true intentions, I will stand by my judgment.

Based on what exactly? She's either been handed, or slept her way into just about every accomplishment she has.
