99 Liberal MP's in the House, 99 Liberal MP's...
This song just keeps going through my head every time a Liberal MP announces they won't be running in the next Federal election.
Tally now stands at 15.

Probably the reason why so many aren't running again is because they see the trainwreck that their national campaign is going to be in the next election.
They want to leave on their own terms, with some dignity, not get unceremoniously thrown out of office by a Tory/NDP/Bloc challenger.

Right Hand Man,
She's getting out now because she has realized there will be no chance at lining up for another Liberal gravy train after the next election, not because her seat is in any danger of being lost. The Liberals could run a half empty glass of orange juice in Westmount, and the schmucks there would vote for it.

They could probably run Jason Cherniak in that riding and he'd win.
