Romney on The Big Three

Today's New York Times has an opt ed piece on the American Auto industry from former GOP Presidential candidate Mitt Romney... who's dad ran the American Motor Company for a while.

In it, he has some harsh doses of medicine for the industry... all things that I've been saying for a while.

Paying attention, Buzz & Co.? If you were to go to the Canadian government with an attitude of being willing to work within this sort of framework, there may be hope for the auto industry here in Canada.

I'm pleased to say that I back Romney from the start. He'll make it in 2012.

Romney is great on economic issues, it's too bad he's a religious nut.

Nobody in canada's MSM seems to have caught on to the aside made by Obama when he opined on the UAW crisis.
It was during a late-Night radio report that I heard a item where Obama took a page from Buzz's Union handbook and hinted at a Bail-Out clause with strings attached , one of those strings was to Buy-American and this may include pulling out of Canada to employ American workers in American Plants .

Thanks Buzz , thanks Taliban-Jack , thanks Carolyn Parish......I hoped you enjoyed bashing the USA and Americans for Electing an Idiot from Texas .
Now they have Obama who has no ties to canada and owes us Nothing , I only hope that FORD and GM don't become Nationalized like the CBC or Petro canada because this will end up as another Money-Pit with endless Strikes by workers with even Higher Salaries and better Pensions .

Think about it , GM has a Capital Float of only $8 Billion for the Shares...yet the Jet-Set CEO's want at least $30 Billion as a Bail-Out to keep them alive.
Why not ask the UAW and CAW if THEY want to buy the Company and set their own Salaries and Benefits , but they won't....they want all the benefits with NO risks because they see what the make every day and it looks like the Sausage factory where people don't want to know how those Hot-dogs are made and of what .
