Abortion is (rightfully, IMHO) covered under our health care, at least here in Ontario, from what I understand. But it does seem that Americans are a lot more anti-abortion than Canadians, so that could be a problem for Obama. However, his pro-choice views were well known when he was elected, so maybe not.

I dunno TCH, I got the impression they were trying VERY hard to keep the abortion issue in the bottle during the campaign... so they could fool more people with the "Hope" and "Change" mantra, without turning them off because he was pro-murder.

Actually, I watched a few online debates between liberals and conservatives in the US prior to the election, and his views on abortion seemed pretty well known.
I'll try to ignore your mislabeling of abortion as murder, even though, by definition, it can't legitimately be called murder as long as it remains legal.
