The knife has been plunged into Dion's back
I was just a few weeks early in my prediction... but the Chretien/Martin wars live on.
Lobbing a grenade into a tense room of Liberals, a week before the election? I'm thinking some folks want to make sure that Mr. Dion never walks through the door of 24 Sussex.

I just read some of the transcripts of Martin`s book. It is not as bad as you would have people believe. Paul Martin seems to be mostly complaining about the situation he found his PM term to be in (sponsorship scandal and funding for party`s reduced). As much as the Scandal wasn`t a good thing, it has been dealt with in that era.
As for today`s race, could you imagine what a different leader of the conservatives could have done with this election. It would surely be better than what Stephen has been able to muster. Expect the daggers to come out shortly after Oct 14th in the Conservative camp.

I can not imagine any Conservative leader other than PMSH holding up against 4 opposition parties, danny, msm, all singing for the ABC hymn book.
IMO, it is absolutely remarkable that the Libs are stalled.
Tells me, we're waiting to hear from the boss, and it ain't Dion.
