Another political Puffin flap

Not to downplay the goof from the website this morning, did everyone forget WHO brought up the idea of the pooping puffin?

And it means I get to remind everyone of my idea for a new Liberal logo...

    Take it easy on Dion today, he is feeling a little crappy, down in the dumps and pooped out. Maybe he can wipe away his troubles with a little tissue.

    I have a sneaky suspicion that it wasn't a "goof", but a play to get publicity twice ... once from the original Flash scripting, and once from the "regrets" by Harper, the latter of which got a lot of media play.

    After all, if the objective is to reinforce the laughter and ridicule of the Liberal "leadership", why not do it this way. Draws another "unfair" wimpy response from the deaf academic.

    The fact is, other than John Diefenbacker, Joe Clark and Sir John A, the Conservatives have left a considerably darker stain on the Canadian body politik themselves.

    Dion, the man running for top job, attacking PMSH personally on National TV with LIAR LIAR LIAR is not a gaff, no apology required;

    but some kid on his own website (yes, CPC associated) has Iggy's puffin pooping on the professor and it is absolutely earthshaking?

    We'll see which 'gaff' the cartoonists run with.

    What an interesting take on it. Perhaps this is an example of what Warren refers to as 'earned media'.

    How ironic!
