Kid faints at Harper event... NOW THE REST OF THE STORY

Bet some of you have seen the footage of the kid who fainted at today's Harper event, as seen here.

Bet the media didn't show you this, what Harper did afterwards...
WOW... goes and checks on him, and then decides to hang out for a bit! The better I get to know this guy, the more I like him!

UPDATE: Of course, the Young Liberals at the U of Guelph think that videos of fainting kids are HILARIOUS... sick.

    The truth vs what paid employees of the Liberal Party ( Adam Goldenberg via twitter)were pushing this afternoon about the PM not caring by using a video of the kid fainting behind the PM as he spoke.

    nevertheless, both you and the PMO (see Soudas' tweet here: http://ow.ly/i/9443 ) are now exploiting this spontaneous act of kindness for partisan gain, further exploiting the youth in a rather private and very mortifying moment.

    Did anyone obtain his permission for this?

    Actually they didn't "choose" to use this video, it was live. The link that Ardvark has so generously provided is to a video clearly edited in Windows Video Editor, not by any sort of political power. It has 350 views, if the liberals wanted to get it out it would have many more by now. I am not anti-Stephen Harper, I simply appreciate the irony behind this happening on two occasions as can any rational human being. I do not think that the liberals would stoop as low as to use a video of a kid passing out in a campaign, but if you exploit this picture it will just look like you're trying portray that he is a nice guy.

    Yeah, I was there, there was no way he could see behind himself. Only rabbits and parrots can see behind themselves without turing their heads and I don't see long ears or a beak.

    Harper was told when an aid said last question because we have an incident, and when Harper turned he could see nothing because they had already had the kid out of the way and on the ground. I'm more offended that the school board people themselves didn't seem to care.

    Just for clarification, I was a membr of photo media working that event. The reason the media never showed you that pic is because the media wasn't allowed to be that close to the incident. In fact, we were cordoned off a basketball court length away from where the PM and kid were laying on the ground behind bleachers (seen in the background). That photo was taken a member of the PMO. So, don't blame the media. Blame the PM and PMO for not letting us be anywhere near this "real moment." And trust me, I'd have loved to have photographed it and have filed as my only photo to run.
