3 Liberal MP's join Tories to defeat Liberal motion
My hat goes off to Liberal MP's John McKay, Paul Szabo, and Dan McTeague, who stood up against the Liberal motion, which was nothing more than a crass partisan move to reignite the abortion debate in Canada.
I'll also give a measure of credit to Albina Guarnieri, Gurbax Malhi who abstained, and Derek Lee who abstained by remaining outside the chamber during the vote.
More to come...

Did the Liberals actually vote with the Government on the nay side? Interesting how Rosemary Barton was there, but she never mentioned that on the Soloman Show.
I need better sources... :(
Soloman, Barton, and O'Malley are dragging me down.

Yes they did vote with the government, and each one of them got a round of applause from our side.

Is it time to start a fb page,
Liberal MPs who support PMSH.
Then list all those that voted for the budget by staying away, and then those supporting us today and voting against their leader.
Iggy might wish he had invited his not able to think MPs and senators to his think fest this wkend.
Guess they showed him they could think for themselves today. Will they be punished for voting against a whipped vote.
