All part of Harper's master plan?

Okay, we're suddenly facing an election, again. It'll be my third in four months, if we go to the polls. Ugh.

Anyway, what if all this brinkmanship is all part of the plan? The Opposition's main cry is that there's no stimulus... they won't admit that it's the subsidy that's the real issue, of course, but that's beside the point. So, what's Harper to do?

Why, offer the Opposition significant input on a stimulus package, of course. The Opposition gets a livible stimulus package, and we get our cut of the voter subsidy.

Everyone wins... except the Liberals.

Unless, of course, they want to disenfranchise the 38% who voted Conservative in the last election... that oughta go over really well next time around.

Rumour in Ottawa tonight is that Harper wants the opposition to form a coalition and preside over the economic collapse.

His advisors have told him that anyone in government over the next year will be lynched by the voters next election due to massive job losses, economic contraction and massive deficits.

A coalition will form; there is now way there'll be an election. But I dunno if that's the best for the country. Politically it might be wise, but we will get royally screwed with the NDP running the economy.

Probably the best compromise I have seen so far.

My money is we will be governed by a socialist-separatist-Liberal coalition next week. God help this country.
