Time to remind our Liberal friends...

...that you can't have it both ways.

Remember this one, boys and girls?


Remember last time? When we're the ones who had "the tape", you shot it down because it had been altered.

This time, you have "the tape"... and we've proven that it's been altered, with opinions and documents solid enough to submit in a court of law.

So, maybe we should start asking some questions of the Liberals on the Grewal tapes... How about we start with, "EXPLAIN THE TAPES"? They never did give a soild answer on what exactly their current MP, Ujjal Dosanjh, was doing there in that meeting.

So, I'll ask again... is an "altered" tape useable in the court of public opinion?

Looking forward to the chorus of Libloggers disowning the Cadman tape.

[cue the crickets]

UPDATE: Well, so much for having what I thought was an original thought... looks like Steve Taylor beat me to this one yesterday. (I've been busy, so haven't been reading much...)

    experts with conservative tendencies claim it's been altered. not quite the same is it?

    when should we expect the CPoC to sue the creator of the tape?

    before or after our experts say your claim is bogus?

    You may be waiting a long time. Liberals have never been know to let facts interfer with a good smear. Listening to the spokesmen for the party, it is obvious that they couldn't care less if it was doctored. They got their negative headlines -- Harper took the hit -- the fact it was untrue is not something a Liberal will loose a lot of sleep over - probably none.

    You've been drinking more Con Kool-Aid then normal today I see, CC.

    James Moore could answer nothing at his press conference other then mumbling "the tape was doctored!"
    Your "experts" didnt prove anything - in fact the one expert said in the affidavit that nothing in the tape he heard proved it couldn't be trusted or was legit - that was the first expert your guys hired - not the other guy who we found out is a Republican operative.

    Nice try though, CC, but simply because James Moore says the tape is "doctored" doesn't make it so.

    I do want to thank the Cons for reviving a basically dead issue with one of the worse press conferences I've ever seen.. I thought the Elections Canada one was farcical.. but this one was close.

    So you can't trust the experts that the Conservatives hire, but, you can trust the experts that the Liberals hire. The Liberal party that has been proven, in court, to pay people off.

    I wonder if you can point me to the evidence that says Harper didn't say what is on that tape?? As a matter of fact, when asked, Moore avoided that question, which probably explains why the assembled media LAUGHED at the "evidence". Anybody with a lick of objectivity can see the forest from the trees here, while others work the margins trying to confuse. It's embarrassing.

    When will the Cons file suit against the author the tape??

    Exactly.

    So let me get this straight....If the CPC had the CBC experts (DON NEWMAN)checking the doctored tapes ,then it would be okay? You know...the ones who checked the Gurmont Grewal tapes. If the POPE checked the cadman tape you Liberals wouldn't believe that either. You see...it's because you have nothing else. An empty shell of a party with nothing to offer except fabricated scandals(canisters in snow banks LOL)and a CARBON TAX LOL. When we going to see Holland and Jennings again with the CBC in tow? Any more brown envelopes of cash hanging around? Wheres Galliano? Any car bombs ready to go off? I want to see the $40 million of taxpayers money, missing from Paul Martins treasury....you know...when he was finance minister. LOLOLOL what a sad bunch of whining losers. Can't wait till the country brings you down AGAIN so our honest trustworthy prime minister...Stephen harper can continue making us proud on the world scene and continue on with all his many accomplishments.
