Dion doesn't even trust his own MP's

I mean why would he, when he can hear all those knives being sharpened?

Mr. Dion has moved the Liberal's weekly caucus meeting to tomorrow. Why? Because he's afraid his own people will leak the plan in advance of his announcement tomorrow.

"Yesterday, Liberal caucus members were told that their weekly Wednesday caucus meeting had been rescheduled to tomorrow. The source said the change was made to prevent leaks to the media before Mr. Dion announces his plan."

Now there's Party unity for you... boy am I glad they're not running the country.

Since the CBC is an arm of the Liberal Party it's not considered a leak when they find out something in advance.

You can't possibly be more of a hypocrite! You support Harper who won't let his MP's go to the bathroom without asking yet you throw stones at Dion who is being proactive in stemming any misinformation that the media might attribute to a leak from the Liberal Caucus. Remember if you live in glass houses you shouldn't throw stones.

Sorry Anon, that's not the kind of "leak" I was referring to. ;P

what santimonous bs from a supporter of a Prime Minister who holds his Ministers and MP's in such low esteem and contempt that they are not allowed to speak to the media without PMO permission.

    As the good book says
"people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones"

Can't remember the chapter or verse for that one in "The Good Book". ;P (wow, this is as much fun as T-Ball... care to tee up another one for me?)

You seem to have misssed the point... the Liberal caucus has been leaking like a sieve for many months now, and you're right, Dion has taken some proactive measures to ensure that there are no leaks this time... because he doesn't trust his MP's.

As for Mr. Harper, I think he does trust them... whom he does not seem to trust is the media, who keep twisting the words of his Ministers in order to manufacture yet another scandal.

Harper is being protective of his MP's. Dion seems to distrust his MP's. No hypocricy there, that's just how I see it.

' to ensure that there are no leaks this time... because he doesn't trust Garth Turner.'

There, fixed that for you. :)

PMSH can tell his caucus anything, and they won't run to the media.
Conservatives are a team, with earned respect for their leader.

Whereas Dion can't tell his caucus a thing that doesn't end up in the media.
Liberals are divided into leadership camps, disrespectful of their leader.

Why do you care? Why do you people get so worked up about it?

Get a life - go to church and re-learn what Christianity is really about - it sure isn't about trashing people and being negative.

Your points for going to heaven are going down, down, down.

You could be right about Dion not trusting anyone. Garth Turner's Blog is shut down for regular maintenance, kinda odd the night before this big announcement. Maybe the Liberals are taking a lesson the Conservatives learned, don't trust Garth Turner.

Anon, that's why I'm REALLY glad that my entrance into Heaven has nothing to do with "points", but is solely reliant on the merits of the Lord Jesus Christ, and His sacrificial death on the cross of Calvary for my sake.

For yours too, if you'll simply stop trying to earn points, and place your faith and trust in Him.

By the way, if it was based on "points", I'd be one of the first to admit that I haven't got a hope in... well, Heaven.

Boy, Mr. Anonymous is really sure of what he is saying. So sure, in fact, that he posts anonymously.

Love the blog. BTW. I just followed a link from Steve Janke's blog. I've just saved the link and intend to check things out from time to time.

I just don't buy your argument that party unity equals good government.

We need less partisan party politics, not more.
