Another empty chair in the House
With his win in Quebec's by-election last night, former Bloc MP Maka Kotto has become the latest PQ MLA. Mr. Kotto officially resigned his seat in the House on May 5, and the vacancy was officially announced today in the House of Commons.
That means we're up to five currently vacant seats in the House.

I hate acronyms. They make me feel stupid. What does MLA stand for?
Multi-Loop Antenna? Could it be Manila, Multi-Letter Acronym, Muzzle Loading Association, Master of Language Arts, Microprocessor Language Assembler, Maneuver Load Alleviation, Minnesota Lake Association, Militaire Luchtvaart Autoriteit, Military Legislative Assistant, Massachusetts Lobstermen's Association, or Microlight Aircraft? I could list more from the http://www.acronymfinder.com/af-query.asp?acronym=mla&string=exact&s=r&page=3 link if you like.

LOL... Member of Legislative Assembly... the name for MPP's everywhere else in Canada except Ontario. (actually, Quebec is MNA, Member of the National Assembly, so I was wrong there myself)

The wikipedia page has Belinda Stronach as an incumbent who will not be running in the next election. I did not see her in your list.
