Oops... Liberal MP's attend Tamil Tiger Vigil
This doesn't help when you're Party is trying to distance themselves from the "supportive of terrorists" label.
LIBERAL MPS ATTEND VIGIL FOR SLAIN TAMIL TIGER - Terrorist GroupOf course, as Liberal MP John McKay said at the vigil, I too support the peace process... however, openly attending a rally with known terrorist connections does not help your Party image, or help the cause of peace.

MARKHAM - Thousands of people, including several local MPs, huddled together last night in the rain to honour the assassinated political head of the Tamil Tigers, a group outlawed by Canada as a terrorist organization.
S.P. Thamilselvan, political head and chief negotiator for the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), was killed on Friday morning in a bombing raid by the Sri Lankan Air Force.

I was wondering when someopne would post on this. I have asked a number of Liberals via email or blogs - garth, Dion, and previously McClelland why they support terrorism I expected to get a blast back saying they don't, maybe I'm racist and I don't understand but, alas, nothing. Not a word. Not a peep. Try it sometime. i bet you won't get an answer.
God forbid Canada was hit by a terrorist attack on our home soil. The liberals would be wiped off of the face of Canadian politics. Why do these people keep supporting terrorists, murderers and dictators? ie: Tamil Tigers, loser on death row in the US and trudeau's favorite, Castro. The Liberals do not even try to defend or deny. Wonder how much terror money ends up in their coffers?

Jeff, lots of money..liberals have been supporting the tamils defacto through actions such as these..Paul Martin attended a fundraising dinner with them, and the money and votes followed..
I know there were four liberals who attended last nights vigil..who were they?

ok.. I can see the article now..the names of the four really do not shock me..more of the same old same old..
Nice spin on why they were there..we don't take sides, they mewl..they might kill a lot of people, but that guy sure had a nice smile..incredibly naive!
As well, they have the nerve to take a shot at the conservatives for not negotiating with the tigers!
How foolish can these people be?

Let's put it into perspective Re: media response.
A CPC member might attend a Dr. Dobson meeting and be raked over for being an extreme right wing fanatic,
but Libs attend this...
