Real Evidence of Media Bias

Liberal media anyone?

I was doing some research on the ousted candidates, and found some interesting and totally biased stuff. The Guelph Mercury, one of the local media outlets of ousted candidate Brent Barr has been reporting the story by quoting Liberals more than Conservatives when it comes to the local ouster of the local candidate!

Hello? DUH! Isn't that sort of like quoting Conservatives on the Liberal Party's woes with Dion? Of course you're going to get purely biased spin... give me a break! And they claim to be an unbiased media outlet?

Oh, right... they're a subsidury of the Toronto Star... silly me. ;-)

UPDATE: The real story emerges... the Guelph Mercury got the whole thing wrong. I guess that's what happens when you choose only listen to the spin of one side, rather than all the people involved.

Why do you have to research the Brent Barr ouster? Aren't you on the executive of the EDA? Don't you have the inside scoop? Didn't you once write that your EDA would never put up with something like this?

I've seen many Star and Globe articles where Conservatives are quoted on Dion's problems.

Blogging hint: when problems arise for your party, crying foul on media bias is a cop-out.

Dirk... just wait. The local paper in Guelph has intentionally run only one side of the story, and the other side is about to come out.

This time, the accusation of bias is undeniable.

I don't think that you have read all the stories in the Guelph Mercury, there are a couple.
The Mercury does have a bias, but it is small l liberal, not Liberal. They endorsed Green in the provincial election and NDP in the last federal election.
