Chrysler to cut prices... and jobs
Good news, and horrible (but not unexpected, at least not to me) news.
First, in response to Canadians being vocal about the price difference between Canadian and US vehicles, Chrysler has announced that they will be offering incentives to bring prices more in line with the United States. They're the first of the Big Three to do so, watch for the others to follow suit.
Second, due to falling demand for their product, Chrysler has announced that they will be laying off 10,000 workers in North America, with about 1,100 of those job losses to be made here in Canada.
Hey Buzz... maybe it's time to seriously rethink how things are done in your industry?
