Liberal civil-war escalates

I said before that things in the Liberal Party "blow'd up real good" over the Carroll affair... and then things went and "blow'd up even gooder"!

Jamie Carroll has now lashed out at those who cost him his job... and may sue the Party for damages, for the "unjustified besmirching of my name and reputation" and that the actions taken against him may constitute a "constructive dismissal"... which is illegal. I like this line in the CBC article...
Then, in a veiled threat, Carroll writes that he has consulted lawyers who have told him he would be eligible for "considerable" damages should he pursue the matter in court, and mentions about 12 to 18 months pay as compensation.

No desire to see matter litigated: Carroll

In a jab at the party's fundraising woes, he adds, "I do not make this suggestion lightly, as I have no desire to see this matter become either public or litigated, and no one knows better than I how difficult this money is to come by."
Of course, all these things were contained in a "confidential" letter sent by Jamie to senior Liberal executives... a letter which was then promptly leaked by one of them to the media.

All these leaks... do you get the impression that there are some major problems within the Liberal Party right now?
