Putin - Not ready to walk away
This guy just gets more and more frightening...
Putin has declared that he will run to become Prime Minister of Russia, since the Constitution prevents him from running for another consecutive term. He may install a puppet President during his term as Prime Minister, after which, the Constitution will allow him to run again for the Presidency.
Things are looking more and more like the good old days of the USSR over there...

I remember John Kerry when he was campaigning and Bush was calling Putin his friend saying - Putin was KGB and once KGB always KGB. Kerry had spent considerable time in Russia and his father was a diplomat and understood Russia.
Putin is slowly but surely bringing back the old Russia - dictatorship.
Why didn't people listen to Kerry?
