Dion to lose another MP?

Ouch. The allegations have yet to be proven, however, the level of documentation provided makes this one sound fairly air tight. Will wait for more info from the other players in the MSM.

However, I think I'll preemptively add Mr. Wilson to my list of Liberal MP's who will not be running again... which brings the total up to 17.

For the record, that's approaching 20% of the current Liberal caucus... and that's not good for any Party, by any stretch of the imagination.

UPDATE: According to a local radio station, Mr. Wilson has resigned. (still nothing from the MSM... guess they got scooped on this one... or else they're being willfully ignorant, since the story has been out for about 20 hours already)

The president of the Sarnia-Lambton riding association resigned today citing Dion as the reason. Her quote...

"The longer you delay (forcing an election) the weaker you become. People do not follow weakness, they follow leaders."

    Ouch.

The guy resigned - it's been dealt with.

Now, what about the 66 CPC MP's and the adscam scandal - why are they still sitting in the House?

what about the 66 CPC MP's and the adscam scandal

Newsflash, anonymous: The adscam scandal featured Liberals. It's tempting for me to ask, "What colour is the sky in your world?" but I shall restrain myself.

If anonymous is referring to the election spending issue that has been pestering the Tories, I'll say this: The Tories have always played close to the line and it looks like this time they put their foot across.

However, the Tories believe that what they were doing was completely legal. Which is why they declared it to Elections Canada that way. So there was never any attempt to mislead Elections Canada or the general public.

That's different than someone who intentionally broke the law. Which is why Blair Wilson's scandal gets the headlines and the Tories' scandal gets a yawn.

The more 'new blood' the Liberals get the better for them.

Looks like they will be in opposition for a while. This is a good time for the Liberal party to renew itself.
One might even say it's necessary for them to be successful again.
