Michael Glatze comes "out"

For those who don't know who he is, Michael Glatze is a former editor of "Young Gay America". He's been a spokesperson for the young homosexual movement for years, even sharing the stage with Matthew Shepard's mother at the JFK Jr. Forum at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. He's appeared on PBS, has been quoted in TIME for an article on gay youth, and won the National Role Model Award from the Equality Forum.

Today, he relased an article that finally clears up why he walked away from the magazine... "In my experience, "coming out" from under the influence of the homosexual mindset was the most liberating, beautiful and astonishing thing I've ever experienced in my entire life."

Discuss.

    More power to him.

I do expect, though, that he'll continue to be the exhibitionist he's always been.

This is welcome news. The homosexual community is apoplectic with rage. Michael has struck at the heart of their lie. David Kupelian at WorldNetDaily and Roy Masters are to be thanked for facilitating Michael's change. More and more the homosexual lie is being exposed and vanquished.

Here's another take on it. Personally, I doubt it will last any longer than most other "ex-gays" manage to supposedly stay straight. Hopefully he'll stay straight longer than the founders of Exodus International managed to. :)

Seriously though, where's the news here? Gay guy gets brainwashed by idiotic pseudopsychology and supernatural babble into believing he's now straight? Or: Man gets disgusted by his lifestyle after being preached to about his immorality?

anon wrote "Gay guy gets brainwashed"... OK by whom? He said he only sought help from Jesus Christ, are you calling him a liar or do you think he is hiding some hand up the back of his shirt? What preacher do you think is capable of inflicting the degree of change this man testifies about. Don't you think that he would mention that high powered preacher in his article? Or maybe his conversion is genuine and you don't like to hear about it. Before you go too far, investigate and find out the facts which is the same advice I would give to those who hold this guy up as a standard bearer for the Christian cause. Been enough scams perpetrated on the gullible.

Well said, Joe. If you or I had said some of the things about gays and lesbians, or about First Nations people (and I know you will find that kind of stuff on some other blogs), that has often been said about Christians, anon & his ideological soul mates would be up in arms, threatening to take the offender to the Human Rights Commission, or threatening to lay a complaint of a hate crime.

It would seem unlikely that this man is insincere. In his former position he had access to all the money and power the leftists can muster. You can bet he was being seriously groomed for a high position in the gay/leftist ranks.
If the past is any indicator, he will now be either ignored or condemned by his former friends even to the point of death threats.
I always find it funny that people are skeptical about a profession of faith but swallow a profession of sin whole hog.

From what I've been reading a lot of these gay/leftists are saying "who the heck is Michael Glatze?"

I don't know about you Bill but I have been caught before defending a fraud who claimed to have gone through dramatic Christian conversion. In response I don't doubt the man's testimony I simply hold it until I receive confirmation. Kind of like the two or three witnesses Jesus talked about. Matthew 18: 16
