Anyway, as I was saying...
...We should start socking it to the parents, especially when their underaged children (under 16), vandalize or are violent and cause either bodily harm or harm to others' property.
Too many parents have no idea where their kids are or what they're up to. Make them monitor the behaviour of their offspring and stop downloading that responsibility onto the public and our judiciary system.
Give stiff fines to the parents, make them pay for repairs to vandalized property and/or the medical bills of the victims of their children's misdemeanours.
Then, give stiff sentences to the young people who can't or won't control their tempers. Enough is enough. These young people are soon going to be older people and then what do you think our crime rate will be?
There's no magic age at which violence and defiance against authority ends. It usually escalates unless the perpetrator runs into a BIG BRICK WALL. Let's start putting them up.
