Bob Rae: "RAISE GAS TAXES"
Bob Rae has announced his solution to the traffic problems in Toronto...
But of course, I'm sure the 416er's will be all over this one. Doesn't matter to me. There are only THREE seats the Libs can pick up in the 416, and one of them belongs to Jack Layton.

I haven't read what Bob has outlined, but people taking responsibility for their own polluting ways through higher gas prices only makes sense. But when has politics in this country ever made sense.
Of course the 905ers will never support this, but hour plus commutes are not sustainable, so sooner or later....

When are Canadian Politians going to learn that taxation kills the economy? How would any dollar sent to Ottawa help pollution? All it is going to do is to increase prices and essentially inflate the economy.
