Ignatieff looking to Clegg for advice on coalitions?
Here's a scary thought... maybe he's looking for advice on what it's like to form a working coalition with a Conservative?

So if Ignatieff is on holidays until July 13th, that means he'll be missing in action during the Calgary Stampede. Not a good way to start the political bbq season. I thought he was going to meet and greet his fellow Canadians - it would appear that the great unwashed of Alberta do not qualify for the "grip and grin". The man and his handlers are amateurs. There will be plenty of time for holidays once he is forcibly retired as leader. Cheers. FernStAlbert

Maybe it's all a coincidence. He's trying to do an Obama-style European tour. Since David Cameron was over here this weekend, Nick Clegg as the deputy PM has to represent the British government back home. Iggy had to meet somebody.
Of course, if he really wanted to show Canadians he cared, he should have stayed in Toronto to witness the carnage and offer an official statement.
