I'm a Born-Again Christian, redeemed by the shed blood of the risen and eternal Lord Jesus Christ. My wife and I are both active in our local church, where our life's focus is on giving all Glory to Jesus Christ, on missions, the preservation of Biblical truth, and the strengthening believers everywhere.

Are you SURE that she was justin? I dunno... she strikes me as your cookie cutter, Toronto-centric, who-cares-what-the-rest-of-the-country-thinks kinda protester to me.
Of COURSE I understood that she didn't mean it justin. I feel, however, that it's important to make sure that activists like this are given as wide a circulation as possible when they say stupid things like this.
It just confirms how narrow-minded, biased, and unwilling to even discuss the issues they really are.

Yup. It's all about oil. I mean it isn't like the US could use their power and influence in the UN to remove the embargoes against Iraq that kept the oil from there flowing at a trickle. It isn't like they couldn't have sent an ambassador to Iraq and offered to get trade going in exchange for cheaper oil. No, all they could do is invade and have a whole host of oil wells destroyed by the retreating Iraq army, and now have on going terrorist attacks that further drive up the price of oil. Yup, it's all about oil.
