MONEY QUOTE from Andrew Coyne

Dion said: "You can't have a foot in the government and a foot in the opposition,"

Andrew Coyne wrote:
"No, indeed. The idea's absurd. It's like, I don't know, being Prime Minister of one country and a citizen of another."

ZING!!! I don't know about you, but I think that qualifies as ANOTHER gaffe, like the one I pointed out yesterday... "Khan is a committed Liberal".

Well Coyne isn't my idea of what a conservative should be but he is correct - Jean Dion is a dud and the MSM is desperate for the public to not find out.
    (real conservative)

Do you cons always run on emotion and fail to say something with some iota of intellect?
Lets get the facts on Dion correct:
    1. He holds a French Passport - but he hasn't comitted to being a citizen there.
    2. That passport was, by default, given to him by his mother.
    3. He has stated that this thing given to him by his mother in anyway effects his ability go run and govern as PM (which he will become), he will denounce it.

Stop yapping with your hormones cons, think a little once in awhile.

Anon: French passports are issued to nationals of the French Republic, and are proof of French citizenship. A French passport is only valid for 10 years.

I suggest you keep your hormone comments for yourself.

Anon @ 8:11pm: Coyne said it, not me... I just thought is was hilarious, in considering what Dion said to Khan about divided loyalties.

For the record, I'm a British citizen, so this whole citizenship deal doesn't bother me all that much... but with Dion and the Liberals trying to downplay it, to see it thrown back into their faces based on a quote of their own is freaking hilarious!

    To anonymous 8:11 PM -

Does this mean that if Stephen Harper, or any other Conservative politician, held duel Canadian-American citizenship, you and your friends would not be all over him/her like a cheap suit?
