The people of Afghanistan... people who have been repressed for years.
I think all nations have a responsiblity to ensure such repression is not permitted to continue. For that reason, I support the on-going Canadian involvement in the mission.

Not to mention the freedom of those who live in the West to conduct there lives without the fear of indiscriminate terror attacks (this being the goal, not the current stat of affairs)
