A cool Note: Todays Vancouvers 24hrs paper pg.six. Alberta's conservative government new Bill forbids any person from being punished for refushing to officiate at homosexual weddings or speaking out againsst homosexual marriage. Fantastic collaboration tool, especially for politics. When you look at Google's lineup - Writely, Google Spreadsheets, GMail - all that's missing is a database app. Virutal desktop ready to go. It's not just by chance that Google is a big supporter of the $100.00 dollar laptop initiative. 10 million computers with no hardrive being distributed, running on Linux. Short term, that won't put too much of a dent in Microsoft, but the long term implications are interesting.
