Did I mention that I liked "Star Trek II"?

A commenter left a "Star Trek II - The Wrath of Khan" reference here on my blog last week, and now the Phantom Observer uses another good one! It's gotta be one of my favorite flicks... Khan was the BEST villain character in Star Trek history.

The Star Trek reference is actually well used... he's referring to the "No-win-scenario" that Bill Graham faces, should the budget prove to be a popular one.

Unfortunately, with the MSM mostly on the Liberal's side, he'll like do what Kirk did as his final solution... "I changed the conditions of the test so that it was possible to save the ship... I don't like to lose".

I was always partial to Gul Dukat on Deep Space Nine as my favorite villain. :)

PLease! Graham is complete fool....do not give heim credit for having enough political savy to make any points at all out this situation.
Even with the help of Bell Globmedia and CBC.

It's a toss up between First Contact and The Voyage Home.

No way man! ST IV was my least favorite of the good ones... all the good ones had even numbers, and all the bad ones had odd numbers!

ST I - sucked big time

ST II - ROCKED. Best villian

ST III - Best of the odd numbered ones. The ship "blowed up real good"

ST IV - the most comidic of them all... but worst of the even numbered ones. Felt kinda like they had no budget or something.

ST V - The WORST of all the ST movies... called "The Final Frontier", but it sucked so bad they had to make another one to save the franchise.

ST VI - TOTALLY ROCKED... final starship battle was killer. Had some of the best lines in all the movies... my bro and I start and finish them all the time...
(My bro) Chang - "I am as constant as the Northern Star..."
(me) McCoy - "I'd give real money if he'd shut up."

ST VII - Worst of the next Gen movies

ST VIII - First Contact... anything to do with the Borg rocks in my books

ST VIX - Felt more like a long episode than a movie. Didn't like it as much, but interesting story.

ST X - Best villian in 20+ years... battle at the end was perhaps the best in ST history... other than the opening 5 minutes of the first DS9 episode.

For the next movie, they gotta do one on "Wolfe 359"... that would be an epic action/battle flick, and totally cool. They could incorporate all but the Next Gen. characters, since they, other than Picard/Locutus, were late to the dance... Janeway, Sisco, Tuvok, etc.

I heard that a new project is in the prelim stages... Paramount just brought a director on board.

As for the BEST Trek movie, it's a toss up for me between 4 of them...

ST II - Should have been the first ST movie. Best ST villian ever. I have DVD Director's cut, widescreen

ST VI - The Undiscovered Country - great story, epic conflict, great cinematograpy, great send off. Have on VHS, looking to upgrade

ST VIII - First Contact - Borg = COOL

ST X - In depth look at the Romulans, which was about time. The Simitar has got to be the most killer starship of all time... other than a Borg cube, of course. The concept of a dark, young Picard added an interesting development to the conflict. Have DVD, bought wrong one, looking for widescreen.

Here's what I've learned about the next ST movie:
It's supposed to be a prequel sort of deal, having to do with the (mis)adventures of a young James T. Kirk at Starfleet Academy, and the story of how he meets Spock.
