E-Day... GO GO GO GO!

Time to hit the beach running... alarm went off at 6:30am, will be heading off to the campaign office to pick up my E-Day kits. Then to the polls to get set up. Voting starts at 9:30am. I'll be there all day, so this blog will be quiet until the polls close in B.C. at 10:00pm EST. (at least)

THEN STAY TUNED FOR THE LATEST!!! I'll be monitoring as many feeds as possible from our war room, and will post as things happen.

    Well, I know I won't be voting Conservative, that goes without saying, but it looks like I won't be voting Liberal either as it seems that the candidate in my riding (Sam Bulte) is a little too friendly with major entertainment companies and seems to be in favour of making Canadian Copyright laws stricter. Guess I'll have to decide between the NDP or some other smaller party. :) Any suggestions anyone?

    I look forward to casting my vote for the Conservatives. I doubt that they'll get a marjority, but I think they will take this election.

    Congratulations Canada! Martin gets the boot. The only problem is that a moderate party like the Conservatives wins only 36.3% of vote and 124 seats. The four main parties of the left(Liberals, NDP, Bloc, And Greens) pulled over 62% of the vote and 183 seats. No doubt these parties will work to undermine Harper and to promote their pseudo-social democratic and extreme environmental policies(Greens). Thus, Harper wins but most Canadians still seem addicted to the left-wing brainwashing that has really been going on since the 1935 election. Harper is a centrist who refuses to take positions or promote legislation involving abortion, capital punishment, or the right to carry arms for protection. Yet, he is attacked as an extremist. How disingenious!

    Congratulations to Harper and the Conservatives, very well executed campaign.

    I am happy to say that the candidate I voted for won in my riding, goodbye Sam Bulte, at least for now. Time for the Liberal party to do some serious restructuring, I hope.

    And see you all at the polls in another 18 months or so. ;)

    What happened to Mr. Prescott? Just 'cause the local Conservative rep didn't win the seat, Mr. Harper did win this election.

    Kate at sda says 100% turnout at Northern Territory poll tipped 300 votes to Lib...??? And 65% turnout for the rest of Canada?Please Canada, any ethics out there at all?
