Definitely tough when the (neither fiscally nor socially) Conservative government refuses to permit discussion on any topic of importance from its base (abortion, fiscal responsibility). I hear you, and make sure they know why I do not financially support them every time they call, and won't until they stop running a deficit, at the very least (although this recent mess with the refusal to condemn sex-selection abortion is unacceptable)

I'm not spending the extra money to do that. ;-) I still consider myself a "Christian Conservative", but wanted to stress the point that I'm presently in forced exile by the CPC leadership... even though I still hold membership.

Not that I know for certain I've been "exiled"... just no one's returning my e-mails anymore.
