Why is the CBC the ONLY MSM silent on "Assasin-ate"?
Yes, I dropped the "G"... "Assasin-gate" just doesn't right...
Okay readers, let's review the media coverage of this Liberal photo-fiasco, shall we?
The Globe & Mail, MAIN PAGE OF WEBSITE.

The National Post, MAIN PAGE OF WEBSITE.
United Press International, 2nd story in their International News section.
Our very own, taxpayer funded CBC? CUE THE CRICKETS.
Not even LISTED in their "Politics" section. You have to know EXACTLY where to go, to Kady's blog, to even find the story. Now why is that, do you think? Perhaps they're not wanting to inform Canadians of anything that makes their dear Liberals look bad? Good thing you've got someone like Kady to give you some credibility... at least she's covering it on her blog.

UPDATE: Now it's there, but not because the CBC posted it... it's linked in their "More Stories from Canadian Press" section way down at the bottom. It's also now listed as a minor story in their Politics section.
Better late than never, I suppose.
UPDATE II: It's now listed as one of their top stories, updated at literally the same time I posted my initial UPDATE. Guess they realized they couldn't ignore it any longer, with the outcry growing by the hour.

Evan actually covered it on his program and showed the photo for about 5 seconds. Kinsella said it was wrong and you can be sure whoever did it will never do something like that again. Then they spent several minutes redoing the Puffin story.
Reminds me of how they ignored climategate for weeks.

You are such a hypocrite, the Tory bullet hole-Dion image was up on the Con website for a week, no apology was ever made, no staffer was ever disciplined. Where do you see this story on the cbc web site? I can see the omar khadr story posted in four different places on the same page, but nothing about the Liberal photo fiasco.

Top guy apologized for screw up in his party. MI does not care about the damage. They never voted for him so why should he care? He is busy firing and sending them back to Toronto.
Ask his wife, she is calling the shots now. His advisers have given him bad advice since they recruited him.

Here we are only a few days after the horrible stuff from Lib.ca, and the story has dropped of the the MSM. Puffin poop dragged on for days over poor Dion's shoulder, with enraged MP's puffin in front of every possible camera or mic.
The main reason this has dropped is due to the gracious classy handling of it by the PMO.
CC I think you should find a copy of that memo and post it here.
However, I'm not letting the MSM do my job for me. I have been in touch with my Liberal MP,Anthony Rota, and basically challenged him to publically denounce what his peers did, and that he is not representing the people of our area by alluding to assination.
He actually phoned me, left a message on my answering machine.
(I didn't give my phone number to him!?)
I will let you know how the chat goes when I return his call.
