Why is it that only on really cold days...
...does your furnace decide to spontaneously catch fire?
Anyone?

I suggest, that the Almighty might be testing your fortitude brother.
I hope it can be repaired at minimal expense.

You must have an old furnace. That happened to us. Pretty scary.
The new ones just turn themselves off if there's a problem.

I think the washer, dryer and the water heater were sick and tired of the Furnace and its incessant whining down in the basement...and solved the problem by having a violent coup....and you and your family have no idea what really happened. You just can’t trust appliances.
