The BEST photo from today's rallies

Of all the signs and props I saw today, this one has to be the best... a "ballot box" from the October 14th election, if the "coup"alition co-conspirators get their way.
(yes folks, that's a garbage can he's holding, with the words "VOTE HERE" written on it... kinda feels like that, eh?)

UPDATE: Got the appropriate "rebuke" from Reid, the Alberta blogger who originally posted this photo. Sorry dude, forgot to h/t you! ;-)

    Enjoyed you comment today at Victoria Park in Kitchener. You were right about not becoming compacent. We need to remain diligent and keep our focus on these issues right through into the New Year....keep up the good work.

    This is great except for the part that you're referring to the Canadian system of parliament. You should educate yourself about your own country as you're very ignorant about how it works.

    I know several NDPers who are against the coalition. Heck according to the polls there are MANY Liberals and NDPers against it. That is the point of the photo. Their votes are being ignored. Yes - it is our parliamentary system and yes several parties in it are acting undemocratically. And yes many people who voted for a political party that wants to form a coalition don't want to be part of that coalition. THAT is why the garbage can is so apt. YOU should educate yourself on the concept of democracy and quit assuming that people who voted NDP, Liberal, or even Bloc support this stupid coalition that gives veto power to a party bent on destroying our country.

    Agree or disagree with the coalition government.. this talk about coups and votes not counting only spreads misinformation about how our system works. Why can't we just be honest about what's going on?

    Apparently you don't understand our political system.
