Shouldn't WE get to decide?
I approve this message... LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE.
I'd like to know, from my "fans" who've been working hard to spin in support of the Separatist-Socialist-Liberal deal in the comments, are there any "lies" or anything "dishonest" in this commercial?
In summary... Dion lost the election. Now he's trying to take power through the backdoor, after being rejected by the voters. And he's doing so with the help of the guys who want to break up the country... who have said that this deal is "great" for the Soverigntist cause.
EITHER BACK DOWN, OR LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE.

"overturn the election results"?
Please. We, as voters, elected MPs. We did not elect governing parties or leaders. What's happening now is that the Liberal and NDP groups of MPs have presented themselves as an alternative to the governing Conservatives (with support from the BQ that they won't vote down the government for 18 months).
That's not spin, that's just the facts.

So, yes. There's your dishonesty for you. This ad mischaracterizes the nature of our democratic process. You can quibble about the implications of the Liberals/NDP getting support from the BQ, but they're not overturning election results.
If you want spin, turn on your tv at 7 tonight.

Let's turn it around a bit: CC, do you think there's anything dishonest about the PM labelling the BQ "separatists" in his English speech, and "sovereignists" in his French speech?
