My two cents on Schreiber

I say we boot him, while we still can.

Get assurances from the German government that he will be allowed to return under a time-limited visa to testify, and then send him packing. Call his bluff... he's just playing this as long as he can in order to run out the clock on his extradition papers... and the Liberals seem all to be eager to play ball.

To those who will say I'm just doing this to cover for Mulroney... if he's guilty, book him, just like anyone else. I don't support the government trying to protect anyone, Tory, Liberal, Purple People Eater Party... the law is the law, and should be enforced equally. Hey, while we're on that topic, I know of this wanted German/Canadian arms-dealer/businessman we should be dealing with...

But we can't allow this wanted criminal and master manipulator Schriber to hold our government hostage any longer.

I keep hearing the Liberals nattering that the Conservatives are trying to "shuffle" Schreiber out of the country. As far as I know, the Conservatives haven't done anything one way or another other than to give him an extra two weeks here. It was the Supreme Court of Ontario who ruled that this idiot should be sent packing forthwith even with full knowledge of an upcoming inquiry. I don't see any reason to overrule the court's decision.

Now that the Canadian courts have made their decision, I would say the Schreiber should be sent to Germany as soon as possible.

If he doesn't want to testify from Germany then so be it and the inquiry dies. Full Stop!

I think that if he is allowed to remain in Canada he will just continue to make a mockery of Canada's judicial system. After the inquiry is over,in a few years,he will most likely pull another prominent politicians name out of his hat.

    It's now or never!

They don't need this guy here for any inquiries. he has made numerous sworn statements over the years , many conflicting. What makes anyone think he will tell the truth now.

I think the Liberals have something very very very smelly to hide and Schreiber is blackmailing them to stay in the country.

Why did Liberal MP Thibideau meet with him months ago. Did he help draft Schreibers "letters"? Why is Thibideau involved at all? Follow the money and who is behind Thibideau.

Further - the RCMP can and should interogate Schreiber and they can do it in any country in the world- including Germany. Heck the Germans can interogate him on our behalf - the crimes they want him on are also related to Airbus and who and when he bribed people. My guess is that some high flying Liberals DO NOT want Schreiber to testify in Germany because some of our big wig Canadian Liberal financiers are most likely involved there too.

So, the Liberals are more afraid to have this guy testify in Germany so that is why they want o keep him here on a trumped up pretense.

    Is that not called "collusion"?

I've always thought the liberals were somehow behind Schreibers current allegations, and it wouldn't surprise me if they've promised him they would drag things out until habeas corpus expires in exchange for a few more convenient lies.

They should pack him off to Germany and on the days we need him here to testify bring him back in leg irons to testify.

The RCMP should also be getting a warrant to tear his house apart and get notes. Pat Martin confirmed today there is evidence there pertaining to the case.
