Now that's cool...

Ever drive through the country in the Waterloo Region and see a bunch of Mennonites playing baseball? Just had a chance to play with a bunch of them for an afternoon, thanks to my wife's family reunion. Now how cool is that?

Man, can some of those boys ever hit...

Mennonite and Amish are represented throughout southwestern Ontario. I was shocked recently in a Christina Blizzard article about Huron County how rude Liberal MPP Carol Mitchell was to these two communities re: faith-based school, where many Mennonite and Amish send their kids, AND they're registered now as private with the MOE.
Mitchell's take in the article(likely still in the Sun's arhives) was that there's no interest in John Tory's plan from rural/smalltown Ontario. WRONG. Think again. In Blizzard's article Mitchell dismisses the Mennonites and Amish because, according to Mitchel they don't vote. Does that mean they don't matter?

in a few words.... no, they don't matter.

18th century nutbags with a christian bend are no more appealing to the average canadian than any other religious extremists.

So open minded and tolerant of you jeffie.
Keep up that Liberal jargon on 'who's in' and 'who's not'.
Are you afraid they will push their jihad on you?
Oh sorry...that's the reliogion of peace that does that.
