I like the idea of shifting the money upstream and using it on things like crime prevention programs. I would rather some kid say no to buying a gun than sorry to the parents of the child he just killed.

A good start to cut costs would be to stop tax dollars that the liberals gave to support Wendy Cukier and her Coalition for Gun Control.

Rosemary Thompson on CTV newsnet just now with the usual spin re: gun registry
"Conservatives say handguns are worse than long guns" and "the last 7 police that were murdered were killed by long guns." No mention of the fact that none of those guns were registered, and no mention of the fact that the creep that killed the mounties should have been behind bars when he did the killing. Also mentioned that police use the registry 5000 times a day...???Could we have some clarification on this please.VF
