Democratic Congressman in serious trouble

Physically assaulting a student on the sidewalk, without provocation? Not cool...

    I agree. He seriously looked like he wanted to hurt that kid. I mean, when Chretien did it, he made sure it was at least funny. Nothing funny about this at all.

    They weren't students. They lied when they said that. They were sent by brietbart.com a conservative website, to create this kind of scene. Both actors carried cameras. The Congressman was an unwitting participant, although he correctly surmised that this was not what it appeared. The actors in this video win though because the Congressman apologized and guys like you suggest that they were college students.

    I don't think this Rep. Etheridge would know who Jean Chretien is. I think if they ever met, the Congressman would be like "who are you?" followed by grabbing his neck. However, in a fight between him and Chretien, my money is on Chretien.

    Top Can: My money is on Chretien too. Though I can't picture him attacking the "students" in this situation, at least not based on the limited information the video provides. I picture Chretien talking to the students, but not making much sense.

    Fellow Anon: Thank you. I should have known. This seems like a Breitbart-y situation. Though he too can embarrass himself while being accosted
