Elizabeth May pulls the rug out from under Mike Nagy
When you're running on a platform to become "Canada's First Green MP", it doesn't help when your leader gives that honour to a former Liberal...
Looks like Mike's going to have to put togther a whole new political strategy for what looks to be an upcoming Federal election.
Sorta like Frank I guess, when he had to change his campaign slogan from "Putting Guelph First", when it was revealed that slogan was already taken.

The Green party has gained its first ever member of Parliament — Blair Wilson — a Vancouver-area Independent who quit the Liberal party last year.
Green party Leader Elizabeth May introduced Wilson at a news conference Saturday morning in Ottawa.

I think you're making it out that ALL Mike Nagy is campaigning on is being the Greens first MP. He is, in fact, much more than that.
Besides "CC", is the bigger Green story not that the Greens actually HAVE an MP now. The Nagy thing is really more of an afterthought.
If you want to cover a Guelph story, why not the rash of vandalism? It's getting disgusting

The left are pushing for a euro style parliament for Canada. It seems that despite their animosity towards the US, they still want the panty skirt of ole Europe to control them. (real conservative)

Mike can still legitimately run as Canada's first elected Green MP, which I think is a much more significant event.

Betty May is not thinking of the Green party when she accepted Blair Wilson as MP. She, by accepting Wilson, is working to re-unify the Libs. Many Libs wanted Wilson back but local powers wouldn't allow it so Betty is providing a Liberal alternative to the poor and dis-enfranchished. Listen to what she says and you would think that she is campaining for the Libs and the fact that she and Dion have signed a non-agression pact tells me that Betty May wants a "big tent" liberal party.

Actually CC, this was a more than a just a move by the Greens to gain an elected member of Parliament to get a potential foot-in-the-door at the debates, it was a brilliant strategic move by the Greens which legitimizes the Liberal's "Green Shift" in an oblique way, by means of an agreement between May and the Libs.
This could be proof enough for swing voters that the LPC's "Green Shift" plan is on the right track by and large for the Green Party.

Talking Point For Liberals:
What does it say about the Greens if their first MP was cited by Elections Canada for campaign financing violations, and whose own father in law said he wasn't fit for the job?
This is for the Tories who still believe in the legitimacy of Elections Canada, BTW.
Talking Point for Liberals:
How stupid is Harper's new communications director, Kory Teneycke, that he actually believes that just because Elizabeth May is not running against a Liberal, she automatically IS a Liberal, therefore there can't be TWO Liberals in the leader's debate?
Someone explain the logic of that to me? You got anything, CC?
